SC Icon Editor is a simple and handy application that allows you to create and edit your icons in a snap. The icons can have standard (16, 24, 32, 48, 64 ) or custom sizes and support color depths up to 16 million colors. Apart from creating and editing icons, you can also work with plain and animated cursors. The application features a simple and intuitive user interface, but not very attractive and very small. It includes multiple tools to create icons, including geometrical shapes, colors, text, color picker, lines, filling, color inverter, grey scale, blurer and sharper. It also includes simple effects like flip horizontally and vertically and rotation (+/- 90°). You can also extract icons from a file as well as associate .ico files to open with the program. It supports drag and drop option, paste images from clipboard and select regions for Import from .bmp, .jpg, .gif, or .wmf images. All in all, if you are looking for a free icon and cursor editor SC Icon Editor is a good option for its simplicity and ease of use. |
